Adenikinju becomes Nigerian Economic Society’s President

The immediate past Head of Department of Economics, University of Ibadan, Prof. Adeola Adenikinju, has been elected as the President of Nigerian Economic Society (NES).

The former member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was elected  for the period of 2023 to 2025 at the 64th annual conference of the society.

Adenikinju is a Professor of Petroleum Economics. He was the immediate past Director of Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law (CPEEL), University of Ibadan.
