Nigeria at 63: Aransiola charges Christians to pray for nation’s  peace, prosperity

The National Director, Nigeria Prays Rev. (Dr) Moses Aransiola, has charged  Christian leaders and spirit-filled churches across the nation to pray for the socio- economic revival of Nigeria in order to return the country to prime position.

Dr Aransiola  made the call during the National Independence Thanksgiving And Prayer Service for Nigeria at 63″ held at the Gethsemane World Prayer Center,  Eleyele, Ibadan on Sunday, October 1st, 2023. Theme of the programe

According to him, the Nigeria Prays Independence anniversary prayer rally is an annual event supported by various church leaders in Oyo State, adding that it was set up in 1996 by former Head of States, General Yakubu Gowon.

Dr. Aransiola, the General Overseer, Gethsemane Prayer Ministry, Eleyele Ibadan said  the vision is designed to bring all Nigerians and lovers of Nigeria home and abroad together in one accord to pray  for the peace, unity and prosperity of the country.

“By the grace of God Nigeria Prays has continued to provide a forum and platform for national repentance, reconciliation and intercession in order to deal with our  intricate national problems.”

Dr. Aransiola emphasized that Nigeria needs patriotism and prayers, not money or publicity from anyone to overcome the  challenging times.

 He expressed his concern about the suffering caused by the poor economy and encouraged Nigerians who really love the country to  pray for the revival of the  nation.

He urged everyone to participate in national prayers and be among those blessing Nigeria, believing that with prayer and commitment, the nation will rise again despite the challenges posed by the wicked.

“The wicked seem to be having their ways in the country but God shall rise against them and the nation shall rise again. As we all know and feel, Nigeria is presently goin through tough and rough time and she urgently need men and women who can pray earnest, thoughtful and sustained prayers for her deliverance.

The clergy however assured Nigerians that with concerted efforts and prayers of the people, the nation will bounce back to limelight and prosperity.
