Oyo Lawmakers commiserate with Assembly Majority Leader over son’s demise

Lawmakers in the Oyo State House  of Assembly have commiserated with the Majority Leader,  Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin on the sudden demise of his son, Faith Adedoyin.

In a statement issued by the Chairman, House Committee on Information and Public Affaiirs,  the legislators described the news of death of the 500 level  student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology ( LAUTECH ), Ogbomosho as painful, shocking and devastating.

“The news of his demise was received with a heavy heart and deep sense of loss but in total submission to the will of the Almighty God whose ways  transcend human knowledge”. 

“On behalf of the Speaker,  Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin and other Honourable members,  we pray that the Lord comfort , grant the Majority Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin and the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”

“We just want you to know that our thoughts are with you and your family. We pray that God give you the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss during this time of mourning.”

“Report had it that some 500 level accounting students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology,  (LAUTECH) Ogbomosho were  involved in  fatal accident last night while returning from an excusion to Erin — Ijesa water fall in Osun State. 

The incident, which occurred around Ilobo — Okinni — Oshogbo  in Osun State claimed  many lives of the students on board.
