A minerals exploration company, Segilola Resources Operating Limited, on Monday, congratulated the new Oluodo of Odo-Ijesha, Oba Olufemi Olayinka, on the ascension of the throne of his ancestors.
Odo-Ijesha, a historic and ancient town founded by one of the sons of the Owa Obokun of Ijesha land, is one of the prominent towns in Atakunmosa East Local Government of Osun State.
Honourable Olayinka, a community leader, astute administrator and corporate icon, was installed as the Oluodo on September 21,2023.
The seventh day events (Ije) of the installation will be done on Wednesday at the Palace of Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesha land, Oba Dr. Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran and Odo-Ijesha Palace.
The letter, titled: “Congratulatory Message to Oba Femi Olayinka, the Oluodo Odo-Ijesha”, was personally delivered to the Royal Father.
The letter, which was signed by its Country Manager, Austin Menegbo, the company said it eagerly looked forward for mutually rewarding relationships with the Palace.
The company prayed for a long reign of the monarch.
The letter reads: “We, at Segilola Resources Operating Limited , extends our warmest congratulations on the auspicious occasion of your coronation on the esteemed Oluodo of Odo-Ijesha land.
“We hold every confidence that your reign will be marked by peace, progress and prosperity. At Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL), we eagerly anticipate nurturing our existing partnership and forging new ones to positively impact the wonderful people of Odo-Ijesha land.
“May your reign be blessed with longevity and may you lead with wisdom and grace”.
