The founder and spiritual head of Shafaudeen In Islam Worldwide, Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke JP has charged the newly appointed Chairman of the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) Sheikh Hashim Atere on the need for best performance while in office saying expectations are high from the people.
He gave the charge during a courtesy visit to the board’s chairman at his Olodo Hajj camp office , Ibadan on Thursday.
The Islamic cleric who is also the Arole Ogunelu and Mogaji Aare Alasa Dynasty in Ibadanland in his congratulatory message to Sheikh Hashim Atere on his appointment,prayed that Allah should endow him with wisdom and power of discerning mind (Furqon) to outstandingly manage the affairs of the board with excellence and effective management.
“I have no doubt in your ability to represent the Holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW) aright on the issue of Piety essence attainment, for adherents of Islam who have the opportunity of observing the fifth pillar of Islam through the Holy Pilgrimage, most especially those who would be going through Oyo State Chapter of the Board.
“I pray that the Almighty Allah shall give you the wherewithal to effectively manage the Board and the people with the expected passion for their welfare for hitch free annual Holy Pilgrimage exercises for the State during your tenure as you represent the League of Imams and Alfas generally – Our Rabitatul Aimmah wal Ulamah,
“Be mindful therefore that the expectations of the people are high on the need for best performances in this office. May Almighty Allah guide and help you through.”, he urged.
