…Olayiwola, Oyelade, Olatunbosun Demola Ojo make list

The Oyo State House of Assembly on Friday read names of nine Commissioner- nominees sent by the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for approval.
The governor had on Thursday forwarded the additional list of nine commissioner- nominees to the Assembly for screening and approval
The names of the commissioner – nominees were read at an emergency plenary session presided over by the Deputy Speaker, Honourable Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi, under message from the Executive.
The list included: Mr Abiodun Akinkonmo, Mr Segun Olayiwola, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun and Professor Abdulwaheed Soliu.
Others are: Mr Majeed Mogbojunbola, Mr Olasunkanmi Olaleye, Mr Williams Akinfunmilayo, Prince Dotun Oyelade and Mr Obafemi Ademola Ojo.
Out of the nine names, three people including Olatunbosun, Olayiwola and Olaleye were returnee commissioners while others too had served in various capacities during Makinde’s first term in office.
The House ruled that the nominees should appear for screening on Tuesday, 25th of July, 2023
It will be recalled that governor Makinde had earlier sent seven commissioner- nominees to the Assembly who had been screened by the lawmakers.
They are Mr Adeniyi Adebisi, Mr Akinola Ojo, Professor Musibau Babatunde, Professor Daud Sangodoyin, Barrister Seun Ashamu, Alhaja Fausat Joke Sanni and Mrs Toyin Balogun.
As it stands, two names are still outstanding to complete the 18 ministries.
