The Correspondents of Oyo State House of Assembly have commended the Speaker of the state Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin for reappointing Alhaji Oyetunji Oyekunle as his Special Adviser on Media for another four years term.The s
tate House of Assembly correspondents also congratulated Alhaji Oyekunle for his reappointment by the Speaker, describing the development as very commendable.
In a press statement jointly signed by the Assembly Correspondents’ Chairman, Mr Mosope Kehinde and Director of Public Communication; Mr Femi Ojo described Oyetunji as a thoroughbred professional and of impeccable character.
Ogundoyin who announced the reappointment of Oyetunji on Tuesday via a Facebook post on his official page reaffirmed his trust and confidence in Oyetunji’s abilities and professionalism.
According to the statement, the brotherly relationship between the Speaker and his media aide since inception of the 9th Assembly in 2019 has ushered impressive development in the general wellbeing of resident journalists at the legislative arm of government.
While expressing confidence in a sustained harmonious relationship between the Assembly and the media, Mosope reaffirmed the commitment of the Correspondents towards adequate media coverage and projection of activities of the 10th House in good light.
He also assured Oyetunji of the correspondents’ continuous support to enable him function more optimally in his renewed appointment.
