Just In; Oyo Assembly Suspend Two Council  Chairmen Over Impunity, Abuse of Office

Oyo State House of Assembly has told  the chairman, Akinyele local government, Honourable Taoreed Adedigba to step aside pending investigation into alleged gross misconduct, misappropriation of funds against him.

The development followed deliberation of the House during plenary on Tuesday.

The Assembly however directed his vice to take over the council while the secretary take over the LCDA 1 and the assistant secretary to LCDA 2.

The Assembly also directed the chairman, Ibadan North local government, popularly known as Agba Egbe to step aside.

Agba Egbe was alleged of impunity, abuse of office and misappropriation of local government funds.

The House however constituted an adhoc committee headed by Mr Peter Ojedokun to investigate the allegations
