The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, Ibadan, Dr. Raymond Adewale Adeyinka has described the emergence of President Bola Tinubu as Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) an act of God and a sign of positive development for Nigeria.
Dr. Adeyinka in his congratulatory statement in Ibadan also described the development as a square peg in a square hole, assuring that the Nigerians would no doubt witness unprecedented turn around in Tinubu’s administration.
It would be recalled that Tinubu’s emergence was announced at the 63rd Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS in Guinea Bissau on Sunday.
The president who attended his first official engagement within the African continent since he assumed office, took over from President Umaro Embalo of Guinea Bissau as ECOWAS chairman.
According to him, the leadership ability, sagacity, and capability of the president would lead the region to greater heights of monumental achievements.
He said: “Tinubu’s administrative acumen, experience, economic brilliance and exposure, would no doubt lead ECOWAS to blossoming economic development as well as political stability.
“I want to assure Nigerians that the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as President of the country and ECOWAS chairman is an of God and a sign of greatness for Nigeria. Tinubu was chosen by God to lead the nation out the woods to the promise land, hence we all need to cooperate with him in order to move the nation to greater heights”
He however expressed optimism that Tinubu’s leadership skills would help in addressing the various challenges bedeviling the West African region and Africa as a whole.
The philanthropist and expert in travels and tour business called on member states to throw their weight behind him in order to make his vision, mission, and blueprints on the new task a reality.
Dr. Adeyinka equally prayed to Almighty Allah to bless him with the required knowledge, wisdom, instinct, and sound health to deliver unprecedentedly.
He then urged Nigerians home and in diaspora to support reforms being introduced by Tinubu’s administration in the best interest of socio- economic development and stability and recovery of Nigeria .
