Eid-el Kabir: Aare Musulumi Felicitates Muslims, Calls for Prayers for Nigeria

The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan the Oyo State Capital, Dr Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has admonished Muslims in the country to use the occasion of the 2023 Eid- EL-Kabir to pray for peace, progress and stability of the nation, saying there is hope of survival for the nation under the current dispensation.

Dr. Adewale who used the occasion to congratulate Muslim faithfuls said the Eid-El- Kabir celebration symbolises faith and total reliance on God.

He also felicitated the pilgrims who were at the Mount Arafah in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday which is a major pillar of the Hajj exercise, Just as he prayed Almighty Allah to accept their prayers and supplication for the country.

Dr Adewale while congratulating Muslims on the celebration, urged them to reflect on the lessons of the festival which is faith and total submission to the will of Allah.

According to him, the nation under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu needs fervent prayers to succeed, adding that the economic reform which the president has embarked upon also need prayers to achieve success.

“There is no doubt that the nation is going through a trying period as I speak, hence, I am urging Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians generally to use the occasion of the festivities to call on God for divine intervention.”

“Asiwaju Tinubu is the 16th Democratically elected President of the country,he needs fervent prayers to succeed on the economic reform he has embarked upon since he took over the mantle of leadership.”

Dr Adewale urged Muslims to commit the country to the hands of God, assuring that the nation under the leadership of President Tinubu will witness tremendous development.

The Aare Musulumi also used the occasion to congratulate the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde and the Olubadan of Ibadan land , Oba Olalekan Mohood Balogun, saying Ibadan land and the state as a whole under their reign has continue to witness tremendous peace and development.
