The Chairman, ARYFAD Travels and Properties Limited, Ibadan, Dr. Raymond Adewale Adeyinka has described the elevation of Oyo State Commissioner of Police CP Adebowale Williams to Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) as well deserving and a welcome development.
Dr. Adeyinka in his congratulating message in Ibadan said the promotion of the CP was an act of God and a reward for his hard work and high commitment, adding that the development was also a result of his strides and contributions to peace and development in the state through his powerful security architecture.
According to him, criminal activities in the state were reduced to the barest minimum through vibrant security architecture put in place by the police boss since he assumed office in the state.
Dr. Adeyinka in a statement in Ibadan described CP Adebowale Williams as a dogged, dynamic and hardworking Police Officer whose impact on security matters in the state will always be remembered.
“It is on record that crimes and criminal activities under the watch of CP Adebowale were reduced to the barest minimum through dynamic security architecture.
“The promotion of the highly intelligent police officer to Assistant Inspector General of Police was deserving and a welcome development. He is a man of impeccable character who possessed sterling qualities in the police profession.
Dr Adeyinka who is the Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan, the Oyo capital lauded the Police Service Commission (PSC) and the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun for the elevation of the CP.
He encouraged the outgoing Commissioner of Police not to relent in his efforts and commitment at achieving more feats in office.
He the prayed God to bless him with grace and more wisdom to continue to achieve more feats in Office.
